The next installment of our special file on taking successful promotional photos as a camgirl. After telling you all about make-up, let’s take a look at your outfit. Here are some tips and ideas for creating an ultra-hot look in your photos.
Your Character
We say it a lot, but being a camgirl above all means creating a character. Whether you are girl next door, sexy glamour, BDSM mistress or an austere secretary… Your outfit will allow you to perfect your character and express it fully in your promotional photos. It will also allow you fans to immerse themselves in your universe and get a glimpse of what awaits them in your shows. So it’s important not to ” disguise yourself ” in these photo sessions but to keep your personality. Don’t assume that to look hot you have to be in latex and dizzying heels thinking that that’s what the public is looking for, not everyone has the same tastes or desires and it’s important to differentiate yourself.
Don’t be afraid of overdoing it with your outfit
Just like for make-up (which is less seen in pictures), the outfit can err on the excessive side without causing problems. This is a photo shoot, not going shopping at the supermarket. You’re here to get noticed and get into your character so, honestly, go right ahead. No matter whether you’re going for a complete one-colour look, dungeon, countryside or office decorations… Don’t forget the details which can capture the attention of potential viewers.
Getting dressed is sexy
Even for rather classic outfits, you can add an unexpected sexy twist that will allow you to show a little more (opening one extra shirt button, your butt peeking out of the bottom of a skirt or panties casually placed in the middle of the decor to suggest that you’re not wearing any). The outfit is really important: there’s absolutely no need to remove everything to be sexy. You can also do a progressive stripping photo shoot for which your outfit will also be essential to set the scene. Think of your clothes but also your underwear, what we can see and glimpse and the accessories that will perfect the outfit (but we will talk more about the accessories in the next article).

Now let’s get down to business with a few ideas, because there’s nothing like having some inspiration for your photos.
OUTFITS FOR ” NATURAL ” CHARACTERS
Some men fantasize about normal girls they might meet in their daily life (the famous girl next door fantasy). And some camgirls themselves are rather natural and don’t want to do tons of makeup or outfits. Because they’d feel like they were wearing a disguise. If that’s you, opt for the “countryside beauty” look, with country-style clothes and discreet makeup… The “girl next door” with everyday clothes (but not a tracksuit either!) … Or the schoolgirl with a strict (but not really) uniform (think short skirt, high socks and blouse not fully buttoned).
OUTFITS FOR SEXY CHARACTERS
You could choose a glamorous style such as evening wear / red carpet or a style borrowed from a specific period (1920s, 50s, etc.). You could also go for the slightly more trashy-sexy look you’d see worn by actresses in adult films, with a skin-tight red dress and super-high heels.
OUTFITS FOR CHARACTERS BASED ON COMMON FANTASIES
You can also go after men’s common fantasies and bet on uniforms (nurse, police…) or look to fetishes. For example, the typical latex BDSM outfit, which will go down very well if you’re quite dominant in your shows.
Last tip
During the photo shoot pay attention to the details of your clothes. Don’t leave a label sticking out (which will attract the eye when you’d prefer they look elsewhere…) or to wrinkles and other elastic bands. Everything must be perfect and pretty to look at. Also remember to remove tight bras and panties more than an hour before the shoot to avoid having unsightly marks on the skin).
